2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament Bracket Kansas City
The 2010 NCAA Basketball Tournament Bracket is out and Kansas is the No. 1 overall seed, playing in the Midwest Region. Kentucky (East Region) is the second overall No. 1 seed, followed by Duke (South Region) and Syracuse (West Region).
College basketball analysts quickly raised questions about Duke’s overall No. 1 seed ranking in a year when the ACC was weak. Some argued Syracuse deserved to be the third overall No. 1 seed based on how well it played in a tough Big East Conference.
Kansas will No. 16 seed Lehigh in Oklahoma City on Thursday. In the West Region, Syracuse will play No. 16 Vermont out of America East Conference. That game will be played Friday in Buffalo.
In the East Region, Kentucky will play No. 16 East Tennessee State on Thursday. And in the South Region, No. 1 Duke will play the winner of the opening round game between Winthrop and Arkansas/Pine-Bluff on Friday.
