BSNL EVDO | Datacard Review: The EVDO, 3G service is developed by QUALCOMM. The wireless broadband is available in few selected cities. BSNL EDDO modem is USB based, and can be used in Desktop computers as well as Laptops. All EVDO modems in BSNL store is preactivated and can be taken and used anytime.

It will take about 2 to 5 hrs to recognize your card for the first time.

Roaming facility is also available with this EVDO datacard. The charges of unlimited internet usage through EVDO Cards are as under :
1. Activation charges — 500

2. Charges for Cards

i) Sale Price of ICC Card in Rs. — 3500
ii) Fixed monthly charges for card — 200
iii) Security Deposit (refundable) — 1000

3. Fixed Monthly charges for Unlimited Internet Usage in Rs. — 650

4. Free internet usage — Unlimited

5. Roaming facility (Intra & Inter Circle) — As per technical feasibility

6. Sale Taxes — as applicable, will be extra.

7. Monthly charges without roaming facility — Rs 250 per month

Total Charges for EVDO BSNL Wireless Internet :
Initial Deposit – 1500Rs
EVDO Device Cost – 7500Rs
Tariff : 250Rs/month if you have purchased the device
Tariff : 600Rs/month if you have rented the device
