Microsoft Flight Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS or FS) is a flight simulator program for Microsoft Windows, marketed and often seen as a video game.
Microsoft Flight Simulator, Version 2.0 was reviewed in 1989 in Dragon #142 by Hartley, Patricia, and Kirk Lesser in “The Role of Computers” column. The reviewers gave the game 5 out of 5 stars.
The Flight Simulator series was ostensibly brought to an end with the announcement of Microsoft Flight, to be developed by Microsoft Games Studio, on August 17, 2010. Flight appears to be intended for a more general audience than Flight Simulator ‘s target of pilots and enthusiasts. In any case, the Flight Simulator name will not return.
