‘Solar Tsunami’ Warning

2 August 2010 484 No Comment

‘Solar Tsunami’ Warning: As per the Nasa scientist a massive hit on Earth could happen this Tuesday. “Our planet could be hit by a wave of violent space weather as early as Tuesday after a massive explosion on the sun, scientists have warned” as per Telegraph news.

The explosion was aimed directly towards Earth, which then sent a “solar tsunami” racing 93 million miles across space.

On August 1, 2010 SDO observed a beautiful prominence eruption that may hit Earth and cause a geomagnetic storm. As the solar cycle progresses and the Sun becomes more active there will be many more opportunities to observe the causes of space weather. (Nasa Sources)
