Varudu Movie Review Online: Allu Arjun’s Varudu is a Movie from Mahesh BabuDriected by Guna Sekhar and was set to release today but the reason stated above cause it to delay the movie release dates. The movie is long awaited in south as for first time the south Indian actor Arya is in negative role. This movie is produced under Universal media Banner and Music is released by Aditya Music.
The other crucial characters have been played by Ashish Vidyardhi, Brahmanandam, Naresh, Sayaji Shinde. The Audio was released on March 7th the music has been composed by Mani Sharma. Varudu movie release was postponed to March 31st from March 26th 2010. The movie has been Produced by DVV Danaiah under Universal Media.
A new heroine (Actress and Model) is taken in this movie by the director and about 100 of families had Allu Arjun as the Hero of the Movie with roles of Suhasini, Vinaya Prasad, Naresh,Sayaji Shinde, Asish Vidyarthi, Ahuti Prasad, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji.

Story:
Sandy is a staright forward guy who believes in love but never fells in love with anybody but loved by all.Sandy finishes his college and gets a job in U.S .Before he moves to U.S his mom suggests him to get married.To their surprise he says he is fine with that and asks them to look for girls.Sandy’s friends tries to convey him that he should fall in love rather than getting arranged marriage.But he feels that he has not find the right girl, if he does then he will do anything to get her.
Sandu’s Mom finds a bride for him and asks him to look at the pictures and let her know if he likes her.But he denies to look at the pictures of the bride and tells them that he is ready to get married with her and will only look at her at the time of wedding and aslo convince their parents that the marriage should go on for 5 days and should invite all there relatives.
When the marriage is all set to go, at the time of wedding , bride gets kidnapped .Nobody knows who took her, police and the government finds that they have no clues and gives up.Sandy believes that Deepti is the one for him and fells in love at the first sight.He promises that he will find her at any cost and will get her back and get married.
He starts looking for her and finally finds that she is kidnapped by a psycho man , who is in love with her and likes to sleep with her.He lets the police know about it but they give up saying that he is a psyco man and he behaves in a very strange manner and is cruel.So finally Sandy goes after him to get the girl.He kicks some *** and gets the girl and challenges psycho man to get the girl at the time of wedding,if he is brave enough.
Sandy gets married to Deepthi finally, but Psycho man appears at the wedding and challenges to fight with him.Sandy finally kills him and gets the girl.
Analysis:
First half of the movie is good and will keep u entertained.Second half is bit too long and in some of the places looks like bits cutt off and added together.
Music is good and worth listening.
Final fight scene is good and different.Graphics are good as well, looks like the same guys who did Magadheera..
Arya (Tamil actor) too good in a negative role .
Allu Arjun looks good and acts well.Choreography is not that great.
Final conclusion….Not too bad could have been better….Will run for a long time in theatre ,,,,

Though this story is a confused one it has got certain assets like Allu Arjun, Bhanu, camera, music Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy.
The story starts with a funny challenge from one girl (Sneha Ullal )in a Basket ball court. She declares that if anyone who could make three goals in three minutes will give a lip-lock kiss. The game starts naturally hero wins like any other story. Even in this basket ball court he will be playing and fighting with some rowdies. Here we will be thinking that there may be a relation between Sneha Ullaal and Hero. After all that fight and buildups she comes to him and offers a lip-lock kiss. But hero stops her and rejects her lip-lock kiss and says that love should come from the heart. This is a good scene. So we will be expecting that there may be some tough knot between hero and heroine. Contrary to that there will be no connection with that girl to this story, except for the sake of heroic buildup.
Here comes another routine scene that hero has to help one of his friends love marriage. And the girl is the daughter of home minister. He tries to convince him softly, but there will be a clash, hero starts speaking carelessly, roughly opening the bear bottle lid just like that with his mouth etc,. That has no relation to his characterization. After that how he could come out of home minister’s house no body knows, where and how hero could convince the villain like personality Sayaji Shinde we won’t know. Even then he will come and exhibits his acceptance for his daughter’s marriage. Later it will be revealed even that married couple was not proper from hero’s point of view.
In between some of his girl friends will be confessing their love for the hero. He will be rejecting them by saying that he never got a feeling on a girl whom he can fall in love. From here we will be waiting for girl who has all, that whatever hero desires. Here it seems director wanted to discuss that arranged marriages are better than love marriages. In this process another scene comes to us. Hero’s mother Suhasini wears a sleeve less blouse while she is moving out with his father Ashish Vidyarthi. Hero once again clearly says that he did not like her wearing sleeve less blouses. Here Suhasini clearly denies the hero by saying if your father says so I will consider not you, a love marriage couple. He further continues that it was the opinion of his father only. Since he could not express directly with her he asked him to say so to her. And in a discussion with his friends, he says a very sensitive point that “when I see girls I am getting a feeling of ‘wow’ not ‘love.’ ” This is an excellent dialogue that can be heard amidst roaring claps in the theatre. Once again we will be thinking that we are going to see some tough fight between the love marriages and arranged marriages. Or at least a fight will exist between western culture and Indian culture. Whether director had any idea of discussing such thoughts are not we can’t understand. But he focused his camera on very sensitive points and created so much of enthusiasm and leaves just like that. Instead he would have not touched such areas. When he doesn’t want to handle why he should touch such sensitive points? Ok any way…
Hero’s mother and father wanted to perform the marriage of their son, since he got a job and leaving for U.S for five years. In this process they will ask him to reveal the name of a girl among his girl friends. And he says that he has no girl friend that could touch his heart. Here we will be thinking since hero is a very sensitive and a very tough guy there may be a clash with his own parents. Again the story raises the interest in the audience and will be expecting a fight with all of them… something sensitive and ethical. And there is nothing of that sort.
All of his friends and even his own parents are for love marriage except hero. Here we think that there will be a tough fight between love marriages and arranged marriages. At least with those so called love marriages. And after words director never touched this point. Here hero confirms that he finds no one to marry, so he asks his father and mother to take up the job of searching a girl for him. And he also says when they are denying, taking up the job of searching a bride for him, he recollects suddenly his grandma wedding and he wants even his marriage to be performed like theirs. He rejects even to see the face of the bride and will say that he will see her face only at the marriage. Here we will come to know that even heroine doesn’t want to see the face of her would be husband before the marriage. This is the only one supporting point that this director has to support this marriage strongly.
Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao played a role one among the elders of hero’s family relatives. From here we start seeing the details of the Indian old-time five days marriage. All the characters suddenly start appreciating the five day marriage. But except Jeelakarra-bellam topic and giving marriage bath to the bride groom nothing else was explored. All the mistakes of the story masked with colour full elegant camera craft of R.D. Rajasekhar (Gajini fame). When the marriage is taking place the marriage Mandapam (hall) suddenly collapses and heroine will be abducted by the villain group. It is not Sayaji Shinde… It is not Sneha ullal Rowdies. Suddenly all together another ‘sadist cum actor cum kidnaper cum villain’ enters in the film story. From here how hero could traces out the heroine is the story.
Director has no clarity on the story line. He had the opportunity of handling many strong and sensitive points. And there is no point he could handle successfully in this film. At the end somehow with a great difficulty he ended the story with unwanted, unnecessary, unattractive fights. Suddenly at the climax fight, very near to Marriage place, we start seeing old heavy Chimneys, and too much exaggerated fight. Such a biggest Chimney falls down because of these two people fights director believes and wants us to believe. ( The influence of Magadheera )
Even on the PELLI PEETALU, director has not forgotten applying oil to the All Arjun. Hero’s heroism should be exposed when it is needed. In this film we cannot see Allu Arjun without oil, director must have thought.
Many areas the placement of the songs went wrong once again because of director.
Dialogues : Thota Prasad
The dialogues of Thota Prasad exhibited his research before Marriage scenes, His dialogues relieved the audience, with jokes. In seriousness the dialogues for Singeetham Srinivasa Rao could have been more sharp and simple.
Hero : Allu Arjun proved his stuff once again with his performance, fights and dances. He did his job that was given. Nothing more nothing less!
Heroine : Bhanu did like an experienced actress, credit goes to naturally to the director.
Suhasini, Ashish Vidyarthi, Nazar, proved once again. Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao did his role just like that like any other experienced actor.
Aarya who acted as villain did his job extremely well. With his appearance he out scored each and every one around him. Certainly in this industry he has a great future.
Editing : Anthony did his job with fullest attention once again.
Music : Mani Sharma, did his job well. “Ayidu rojula pelli…” ‘’Rela rela…” are catching.
The production values are very high.
Cinematography: R.D. Raja Sekhar :
Though this film has got umpteen number of flaws from the beginning to the end R.D.Rajasikhar could mask all those, with richest colours and craftsmen ship.
This Director Guna Sekhar proved his values and has not exposed heroines anywhere.
Final Impression: An average movie without story.

I am not an expert in analyzing movies in critic’s perspective..
But, from the responses of audience while watching Varudu movie, I can simply came to know that the movie is not a watch worthy one. If you are a die-hard fan of Allu Arjun you might enjoy his screen presence, but, somewhere or the other you would experience at least a bit irritating feel due to lack of punch in script and mishandled sequence of scenes. You would feel as if you are watching blockbusters like ‘Vijayendra Varma’ and ‘Palnaati Brahma Naidu’ at a time.
, I don’t understand why and how Allu Arjun accepted to act in such fictitious and artificial scenes like climax fight and bike-lorry chase.
Simply, movie is not at all up to the expectations. Though you are a hardcore fan of telugu traditions and Bunny, you would certainly get headache..

OK, this is my first online review, after watching the Premier show I decided to write something online.
OMG..Guna Shekar, I never expected this kind of movie after watching “Okkadu” block buster. In no way I would give morethan two ** for this movie. Even those two stars are for Allu Arjun and for the Art work done by the technicians.
I guess this is one of the worst telugu movies in recent times, lack of screen play, poor Direction, poor storyline, I really dont understand how one could make such a movie with so much budget and without applying commonsense.

I like Allu Arjun’s movies very much and was waiting to watch Varudu movie.But after seeing the movie i kept on laughing while coming out from theatre as a big and huge chimney collapsed when hero and villian fought on top of it.It was a real joke.I really didnt expect this kind of movie from both Director and Allu Arjun.Heroine is not at all worth of whatever hype created for her.No comedy in the movie at all and it was worst job done by Music Director.Only one positive thing is that Arya who is Tamil Hero and villian in this movie has dione good job.But dialouges like “Khooshmanda” in 21st century looks funny.Suhasini’s acting is artificial to the core and atleast our new generation heroes should stop scenes like winning in whatever challenge(Basket ball game in this movie)and introduction song for no reason etc.hmmm Movie is simply lead a way to headache and is not worth watching at all…..
